When Left Between a Rock and Hard Place

How easily we decide to live our life all depends on the way and how we think. You may well know that, as humans, we tend to become attached to events, moments and emotions rather than truths; nor are we as much in the present or as far-sighted as we ideally should be. There are times we are torn whether to act on something outside of our boundaries even though it is the right thing to do. We know we need to make sense of how to face hardships in life and how we should deal with them.

We’re trapped on this very thin slice of perception … But even on that slice of perception, we don’t see most of what’s going on beyond our vision. Vision begins with the eyes, but it truly takes place in the brain, and our brain listens to our souls. Down deep within our being, our soul knows what is right, and what is wrong. Our souls understands our core, immutable truths. We need to learn and listen to truths revealed to us, beyond our immediate emotional horizon. We can learn amazing, deep, eternal truths when we silence our minds long enough to hear them.

It is better to walk away, allow freedom for others, rather have it weigh on the lives of everyone.

It is better to carry a load and then put it down and be done with it.

It is better to do the right thing even though the personal cost is difficult to bear.

It is better to do things out of love than be judged as being proper.

It is better that things that happened in the past be left there.

It is better that we not carry past mistakes and misery with us.

It is better to look forward with hope, and with knowledge our future lies ahead of us, not behind us.

So, how do I know these things? It is the voice of experience you hear.
